I Pink Floyd tutti insieme per una sola volta
Il 29 giugno 1968 i Pink Floyd pubblicarono il loro secondo studio album "A Saucerful Of Secrets".
In quel giorno uscì nel Regno Unito con la EMI Columbia e il 27 luglio 1968 negli Stati Uniti con l’etichetta Tower Records.
Questo è l'unico album – ovviamente un album non compilation – in cui sono comparsi tutti e cinque i membri della band.
È stato registrato prima e dopo che Syd Barrett lasciasse il gruppo.
David Gilmour, al suo primo contributo a un album dei Pink Floyd, è apparso in cinque canzoni: “Let There Be More Light", "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", "Corporal Clegg", "A Saucerful of Secrets" e "See-Saw".
Per Syd Barrett è stato l'ultimo album, possiamo sentirlo in tre canzoni "Remember a Day", "Jugband Blues" and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun".
L'unica traccia in cui tutti e cinque i membri sono comparsi insieme è "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun".
