Listen to the sound of tattoos with the Soundwave Tattoos

You know, a picture is worth a thousand words, but what if the picture could actually speak?
Soundwave Tattoos are a brand new way to express yourself using art and technology, they explain in the website.
“What is more personal, more permanent, and more meaningful than a tattoo?” the website asks. “A tattoo you can play back.”
The voice of a loved one, your dog’s yap, your favorite song lyric or a quote, whatever you want, whatever sounds, now you can immortalize it on your skin and play back.
Nate Siggard invented a way to turn tattoos into sound.
It all started when Nate’s girlfriend Juliana said “wouldn’t it be cool if you could listen to the tattoo?”.
Nate tooke that question seriously and after a bit it invented Skin Motion – a new app that brings tattoos to life.
How does it work?
All you need is a smartphone, you have to record the sound that you want always with you. The audio clip can be then scanned by the app, which translates the sound into a scientific piece of body art.
With this app, now you can add an extra dimension to your tattoo.
Nate and her partner Juliana are among the first to have tried out this technology. He get a soundwave tattoo with Juliana saying “I love you” and the sound of their 4 month old baby.
