i-D and Marc Jacobs reinvent a new cool music alphabet

The culture magazine and the fashion firm put together 26 hot artists in a unique live performances to create a super track.
The A-Z of Music serie is a never seen before sonic and visual composition arranged by multi-instrumentalist and composer Dave Harrington and directed by filmmaker Sam de Jong.
“Fresh talent joins established icons to create an original composition […] Creating a full alphabet, each artist selected a letter to highlight their musical contribution, producing a completely unique sound blending styles from throat singing to guitar riffs and more”,

“i-D and Marc Jacobs came together to create the A-Z of Music to illustrate the diversity in music culture today in both style and sound,”
said i-D Associate Creative Director Amanda Kim in a press release.
“From throat singer Tanya Tagaq’s primal and political vocals to the quirky acoustic country guitar chords by Dougie Poole, we wanted to create an inclusive encyclopedia of some of the most interesting faces in music today.”
