Did you know that Eminem had won Oscars?

At the 75th Academy Awards, Eminem became the first rapper to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song "Lose Yourself", from his semi-biographical film “8 Mile”.
Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known professionally as Eminem, is an American rapper, record producer, and actor.
He is the best-selling artist of the 2000s in the United States.
With sales of more than 172 million albums, he’s one of the world's best-selling artists. He also has had, in his career, 10 number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and five number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Lose Yourself” was the first hip-hop song to ever win the golden statue and, even though he already won a bunch of prizes and recognitions, he wasn’t attending the ceremony at that time because of he believed to have no chance of winning.
He was asleep at home with his little daughter, even not watching it on live TV.
However, rumors said that Eminem did not perform at the Oscars because they wanted him to sing the "radio friendly" version and he wanted to sing the song as written and let the censors edit the language.
So, “Lose Yourself” was also the first winning song not performed on The Oscars since it has been televised.
