Mindset, the smart headphones that improve your concentration

Unfortunately, it’s Monday.
Are you sitting in front of your computer or of your music instruments looking for just a bit of concentration? Something that helps you to become your most productive self?
Now, the latest in technology, brings into our life Mindset, an over ear headphone that reads our brain activity, and uses real time information from our brain to help us to focus.
The Mindset headphones are embedded with five EGG sensors, which measure the electrical activity in your brain (the electroencephalogram waves) while you're listening to your tunes and trying to work at the same time.
The sound of Mindset headphones comes from Onkyo, a Japanese luxury brand that specializes in audio equipment.
But what makes Mindset unique is its way to improve your concentration.
As the creators explain, Mindset tracks your focus throughout the day, and alerts you whenever your concentration drops. Over time, these alerts train your mind and rewire your brain to better tune out distractions.
The same technology used to treat ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), improve creativity in Olympic figure skaters, and train NASA astronauts.
That method uses information from EEG to help us understand how our brain functions. When you become distracted, Mindset sending you an audio cue to get you back on focus.
That should allows you to improve in concentration, training your mind to recognize when is becomes distracted.
Does it work? Unfortunately, there’s only a prototype of Mindset, the product isn't quite ready for commercial production.
Mindset has just launched the product as a Kickstarter project. You can find the Mindset's Kickstarter campaign, which has an estimated delivery to backers in December.
