Tinder and Spotify together to find your soul mate with music
Music brings people together, it can speak to people
Tinder knows it well. Recently, the online dating service introduced a new feature: music.
According to a statement from Tinder, the dating service says, 'Welcome to a completely new sensory experience'.
The statement explains: ‘Now you can broadcast your Anthem from your profile, display and preview music clips from your top artists from Spotify, and swipe to see who shares your taste in music’.
Tinder’s algorithm suggests matches based on interests and mutual friends, now it has been expanded to include musical preferences.
Tinder users who have a Spotify account are now able to add to their Tinder profile a music list of the top artists on Spotify. The algorithm will take into consideration any artists that you and a potential match have both selected.
It doesn’t matter if you have not a Spotify account. All Tinder users can now broadcast an “Anthem” on their profiles, a song that represents your sound identity.
So, everyone will be able to let music speak to people and to use Spotify to find a date.
