David Bowie brings his Realty to cinemas worldwide
On September 8th 2003 in London, David Bowie made technological history with the first live and interactive music satellite concert.
The event was beamed via satellite from London’s Riverside Studios to cinemas and theaters across Europe and due to time delay the following day across Asia, Japan and Australia.
A global concert that culminated in a real time Q&A session, allowing the singer to take requests through microphones from cinema audiences.
The 90-minute show consisted of David Bowie performing an exclusive live set showcasing his album 'Reality' released September 15th on ISO/Columbia Records, as well as many cuts from his legendary back catalogue.
