TBT 07.07.07 “Live Earth: the Concerts for a Climate in Crisis”

Founded by Emmy-winning producer Kevin Wall, in partnership with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Live Earth was built upon the belief that entertainment has the power to transcend social and cultural barriers to move the world community to action.
It all started with an amazing concert. On 07.07.07 Live Earth produced “Live Earth: the Concerts for a Climate in Crisis” that took place around the world.
The concerts were hosted on 7 continents, broadcast in 132 countries, reaching worldwide audience through an unprecedented global media architecture covering all media platforms: TV, radio, Internet and wireless channels.
“Live Earth: the Concerts for a Climate in Crisis” inspired people to engage with the issues and the solutions surrounding the global climate crisis.
